2024年10月下旬，国际学院药学专业大一大二的学生们到采芝林中药文化博物馆进行了一次丰富而意义非凡的文化探索之旅。本次活动让同学们深入了解了岭南中医药文化的独特魅力，领略中医之美，对中医药获得了新的认识。

活动伊始，博物馆的工作人员生动地讲述了采芝林的历史，并解释了门前对联的深刻含义。同学们沉浸在岭南中医药发展的历史与文化讲解中，感受到了中医药文化的源远流长。

一踏入博物馆，淡淡的草药香气便扑鼻而来，同学们仿佛瞬间穿越到古代的药房。惟妙惟肖的中药创意画及构思精巧的非遗文化长廊，让同学们置身于中药的世界，感受着博大精深的中药文化。
一楼文化厅为同学们展示了采芝林所使用的各式名贵中药材，如冬虫夏草、燕窝、沉香、降香等。同时，导览员为大家逐一介绍这些药材的由来、功效和鉴别方法。
随后同学们来到二楼的生态中药标本馆，参观了上百种的中药草本，游览了馆内特色的森林生态群、动物骨骼标本区、海洋生态区。大家都对这些精巧的布置感到十分新奇，尤其是可以近距离看到巨型马鹿、玳瑁的标本以及动物的骨骼标本，纷纷拍照留念。
此外，同学们还参观了药物开发实验室。科研人员操作着精密设备，分析药物化学成分。这次经历让他们见证了中国传统医学与现代医学研究及生产的紧密结合与相关科学严谨的过程。

此次参观不仅为国际学院药学专业的同学们提供了一个深入了解中医药文化的机会，也进一步加强了中医药文化的宣传。正如习近平总书记所说：“中医药是中华民族的瑰宝，一定要保护好、发掘好、发展好、传承好。”相信这次参观活动经历会对同学们今后在药学领域的学习和职业选择产生积极的影响，让更多人加入到推动中医药发展的行列中，共同为传承和发展中医药文化贡献自己的力量。

Educational tours add a touch of shine and vigor to the student learning curve, extending and applying knowledge beyond the theory cocoon. late October 2024 calendar of events was oriented to blended learning among pharmacy students. Caizhilin Intangible Culture Heritage Experience Hall, Caizhilin Traditional Chinese Medicine Science Popularization and Research Base, was the chosen venue to expose students to varied learning shades that add dimension to the knowledge system.
During the educational tour itinerary, students gained a comprehensive understanding of the general situation.
Exhibitions always increase the visual learning dimension of a student. Pictures displayed at the exhibition center consisted of detailed descriptions of the Caizhilin history. Students were accompanied by a professional tour guide, who further added delight and enthusiasm to his narration about Caizhilin and its commitment to traditional Chinese medicine. Herbs and precious traditional Chinese medicines were introduced to the students in a realistic and applicable manner that further amplified their encouragement towards the supremacy of traditional Chinese medicine that can be readily applied in the field of pharmacy.
Pictures stand testimony to the precious time, adding significance to the educational itinerary. Students enthusiastically smiled at the camera lens, etching the memory lane of an extending learning experience.
Pharmacy students garnered more information as they witnessed the scientists donned with lab coats working intensely on chemical components of the medicine samples in the drug development labs that housed the latest equipment, analyzers, and array of test compounds. Demonstration is the key to the learning process. Students observed the extraction process of the active ingredients from the herbs; this established a profound application of the theory based knowledge integrated into the scientific process of modern medicine and the production related to traditional Chinese medicine. This educational tour observation reminded the students of a famous line told by President Xi Jinping “Traditional Chinese medicine is a treasure of the Chinese nation and must be well protected, developed, and inherited”.
The education tour culminated with a deeper understanding of the synergistic approach of traditional culture and modern pharmaceutical research within the Caizhilin enterprise. It is believed that this educational tour will leave a progressive impact on the students, enabling them to plan their careers in the field of pharmacy.
